  • Tutor and examiner for final year students at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine for thirteen years
  • Six months as a consultant neonatologist and paediatric intensive care consultant (King Edward Hospital)
  • One year as a medical officer in obstetrics and gynaecology including two months ICU experience (King Edward Hospital)
  • One year in casualty/medical outpatients (RK Khan Hospital)
  • Specifically trained by Dr Helen Chapel (international chair) in treatment of primary immune disease upon invitation at Oxford University
